A five-year journey of prayer, renewal and mission across the South Pacific

Launch Event:

South Pacific for Christ is a five-year movement across the South Pacific Division to refocus the Seventh-day Adventist Church on its core purpose: mission. From 2025 to 2030, this initiative calls every conference, mission, local church and member to step forward with renewed clarity, courage and commitment to sharing the hope of Jesus.

Rooted in our Adventist identity and belief in the soon return of Jesus, South Pacific for Christ is about more than events—it is about creating disciples and cultivating a culture of intentional evangelism. It is a movement built on training, collaboration and spiritual renewal, equipping people to go out into their communities and live the call, “I Will Go.”

Pastor Erton Köhler

General Conference president

The journey begins with the South Pacific for Christ launch, to be held from April 28 to May 2, 2026, bringing together leaders, pastors and members from across the region. The launch will feature vision casting, intentional evangelistic training and a livestreamed program with keynote speaker General Conference President Pastor Erton Köhler, inspiring members to discover their place in God’s mission and step into service with confidence.

Register Now to attend the launch event.

Each year that follows will see this vision expressed locally and powerfully: Trans Pacific for Christ in 2026, New Zealand Pacific for Christ in 2027, Australia for Christ in 2028, and PNG for Christ in 2029. Together, these expressions form one united movement—many contexts, one mission.

At its heart, South Pacific for Christ invites every believer to ask, What is my church doing? What is God calling me to do? Whether serving as an evangelist, supporting local outreach or simply learning how to share faith more naturally, this movement creates space for everyone to participate.

When you find Jesus, you discover your true purpose. When you step into mission, you become part of something greater than yourself—part of God’s kingdom agenda, part of God’s story. South Pacific for Christ is an invitation to step up, be inspired and share faith—together.

“South Pacific for Christ is more than an event — it’s a rallying cry to every Adventist in the South Pacific to be part of a bold, Spirit-led vision for the next five years.”

— Pastor Glenn Townend, South Pacific Division president
