Distance no barrier

Distance is often a challenge in the Solomon Islands, especially in remote places like Choiseul. Yet distance cannot stop the passion, commitment and faith of God’s people, according to local leaders.

Recently, a dedicated team under the leadership of Minister Tito Bale from South Choiseul travelled across the sea to their preaching site at Vavudu, under the Sasamunga area. The team conducted meetings with the community, prayed together and began preparing the site in anticipation of the upcoming Solomon Islands for Christ evangelistic campaign.

Despite the long travel and logistical challenges, the enthusiasm of the church members remains strong, the leaders say. “Their willingness to go, serve and prepare the way for the gospel is a powerful testimony of their commitment to the mission of God.”—Solomon Islands for Christ Facebook page
