From classroom to community

Katurasele Adventist Primary School in South Choiseul recently brought its mission theme, “I Will Go: Step Over the Line”, to life as part of the Solomon Islands for Christ initiative.

Led by principal Gary Puisasa, 64 students and four teachers journeyed to their sister school, Nabusasa Primary School, where they were warmly welcomed by the local community.

Despite challenging weather, the day was filled with joyful fellowship, shared learning and spiritual encouragement, strengthening unity between the two schools.

As Katurasele’s first mission outreach, the visit marked a significant step of faith demonstrating the power of education as a tool for ministry.

The program ended with uplifting songs of praise, with plans for a return visit already anticipated.—Solomon Islands for Christ Facebook page
