Kiribati President officially opens Kiribati for Christ

Kiribati President Taneti Maamau officially opened Kiribati for Christ 2026, which is currently underway.

Speaking at the opening, Mr Maamau acknowledged the importance of initiatives that contribute to the spiritual wellbeing of people while supporting healthier families, stronger communities and a more peaceful nation.

He encouraged the Adventist Church and the people of Kiribati to support Kiribati for Christ and its focus on bringing hope, healing and positive change to communities across the country.

With the theme, “Uplifting Jesus, Promoting Health and Peace Through Family”, the initiative not only includes gospel messages but features practical health and family ministries designed to support individuals, families and communities.—Kiribati Mission
