The president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fiji, Pastor Epeli Saukuru, has called on all members to unite in prayer and mission as preparations continue for Fiji for Christ, a nationwide evangelistic initiative culminating in August.
Fiji for Christ is part of the South Pacific Division’s strategic evangelism plan and focuses on disciple-making and church planting. Since late 2025, churches and small groups across the country have been engaged in prayer, Bible study and community outreach to prepare hearts for the gospel.
As the initiative progresses through 2026, members are encouraged to take part in health outreach programs, youth-led mission activities, Bible seminars, and focused seasons of prayer and fasting. Training for pastors and lay leaders is also underway to strengthen evangelistic efforts.
The main evangelistic meetings will take place from August 16-29, supported by small group meetings beginning in July. Following the harvest, the church will focus on nurturing new believers and strengthening long-term disciple-making.
Pastor Saukuru urged all members to remain united and faithful, trusting God to lead the mission of reaching Fiji for Christ.—Na Kaci newsletter
