Sun Valley prepares the way

Sun Valley Church has quickly established itself as a vibrant centre of mission since being officially organised toward the end of 2025.

One of the newest organised churches in the district, Sun Valley is situated in the eastern part of Honiara under the East Honiara District of the Solomon Islands Mission. It is led by an enthusiastic membership and youthful leadership team already playing an active role in preparations for Solomon Islands for Christ 2026.

Over the past week, members have been engaging the wider Sun Valley community through a series of cottage meetings and Bible studies. The gatherings have focused on strengthening faith, building relationships and preparing hearts for the upcoming evangelistic emphasis.

Pastor Clifton Mark has been leading the preaching ministry, supported by committed local leaders and church members who have embraced the opportunity to serve.—Solomon Islands for Christ Facebook page
